MERLOT

MERLOT: One of the most widely planted red grape varieties in the world, originating from the Bordeaux region of France. Due to its softness and fruitiness, it is popular both in single varietal wines and blends.

VINIFICATION: The grapes are typically hand-harvested at optimal ripeness. After fermentation in temperature-controlled vessels, the wine is often aged in oak barrels, adding complexity and depth.

TASTE: Aromas of ripe plums, black cherries, and blackberries, with notes of chocolate, vanilla, and spices. The wine is medium to full-bodied, with soft tannins and balanced acidity, contributing to its drinkability and versatility.
