GROF GREEN

ZELEN: A local, indigenous variety from the Vipava Valley, producing fresh and elegant white wines with the distinctive character of the terroir.

VINIFICATION: The grapes were hand-harvested into small 20 kg crates and cooled overnight. Gentle pressing took place in a closed space without oxygen exposure. Fermentation was temperature-controlled and carried out in stainless steel tanks. The wine aged on fine lees using the "sur lie" method until bottling in July 2023.

TASTE: A polar aromatic variety, delicately fragrant, with recognizable fruit notes of apples and pears. The aroma is rich, varietal, and extremely pleasant. The taste is rich in extract, robust, slightly aromatic, full, appropriately fresh, and harmonious. The sweet-and-sour sensations that gradually unfold in the mouth are in balance and indicate the wine's fullness.
